Good Evening All,

Well, this our last week of blogging for this Composition class and it was really interesting. I really enjoyed venting online and being able to express my feelings on my blogspot. This was my very first time having a blog and I was not very sure how this was going to work out or how I was going to like it; however, it was nice.

I enjoyed you too, Dr. M. You have really helped me in many ways and I thank you very much. As we bring this quarter to a end, I wish everyone well in there future endeavors and hope to see some of my classmates in my future classes.

Good Morning All,

This is the end of the quarter for all of us and we are finishing up our papers. I am really excited about turning in my paper because put in alot of hard work and hopefully my grade will show. I am hoping that all of us contining blogging after the semimester is over so that we can keep in touch with on another.

Editing and Revising was the last and final part of our class making sure we polish what we researched to the best of our ability. I am sure we gave it our best shot. Next, I will be working on my Accounting I class and need to focus on getting a decent grade and I know I can do it. My father was telling the other day to get by myself and study, there can be no tv, children or husband around because accounting you can have no distractions. That is what I plan to do on Sunday and Monday. I will be fine. I just need to stay focused.

Good Evening,

I am still editing and revising my research paper and it about ready to be put all together. After seminar, I sent my firstdraft to Tiffaney, one of my classmates, awaiting her response to see how she thinks I should revise or re-word my paper. I am really excited about this paper because I have done alot of research and because experience within the family with teenage pregnancy, this subject is near and dear to my heart.

Teenage pregnancy is one of the biggest within the teenage community and its growing more and more every day. I am looking forward to reading my classmates papers and getting information on different subject matters. I think everyone picked an excellent subjects and will be interesting for the professor to read them all and see how much effort every one put into writing their papers. Well, just got off work and about to eat dinner will chat later.

How do I feel about peer reviews?

When I was in Composition I last quarter, we did peer reviews for the papers that we wrote for our finals. I really liked being involved with peer reviews because it gave me alot of ensight on their feelings on certain issues and I thought that we all did an excellant job.

Our teacher really enjoyed reading our post and what we had to say about our peers papers and how we should re-organize or re-structure our thesis statements. I probably got a lot more feedback than I get in this class. I have even tried to get in touch with my cohorts; however, that did not even work. Iasked for their help and they did not give me a helping hand. Well, maybe they felt they did know me well enough. Consequently, I had fun in my Composition I class and we all got along with everyone. Peer reviews can be very beneficial and can help you complete the task of making sure your paper is in line with how it is supposed to be written.

Good Evening All,

I have been going through the ringer trying to get this research paper together and make sense out of this thesis statement. My topic is a broad topic and trying to narrow it down is the pits. The frustrating part is that when I think I have it together, I don't. Well, I know I can't give up.

I will keep on trying until I get a good thesis statement. I have tried emailing my cohorts and they have not emailed me back on feedback on how I should re-word my thesis statement; so I will try my co-worker and see if she can help me get somewhere this week for sure. I have to begin writing my paper because I don't want to be last minute trying to write a 8-10 page paper.

Now that I have let all my frustrations out, I think I feel alot better now. I will start all over tomorrow. It will be a new day and I will accomplish what I need to so that I can complete my paper.

Good Afternoon,

I am so glad that Christmas is almost here. I do not have to work this holiday so that is a very nice feeling. I currently work in a hospital where our department is open 24/7 and we all have to do holidays and weekends. It can be the pits sometimes because I had to work Thanksgiving and it was slow as heck. The day went by so slow that we were counting the hours and minutes to when we would be able to eat some of that turkey that our familys were so diligently cooking.

My friend and I saved ourselves all day long. We just snacked on chips and water until it was time for the big meal. I was so hungry at 3:30 when I got off; I was ready to eat my fingers. I kind of wished that the day would have been busy because the time would have went faster.

Consequently, I am looking forward to Christmas; that is the best holiday of the year for me!! Even though my son already has his gift, we still look forward to the day. I don't have any small children anymore so Christmas is not as big as it used to be for us. However, we pull names in my husband's family and my immediated family that way it helps keep cost down. My husband and I usually don't exchange gifts because our anniversary is so close after Christmas, but this year we decided we both deserved it. Well, I am still at work so I am ending now but I look forward to having a very Merry Christmas!!!

I wanted to just reflect on making sure you give credit where credit is due.

We need to make sure as we write our papers or going to work, to make sure that we acknowedge when someone has written a book or poem, song whatever the case may be to make sure that that person receives credit for that song or poem. That is very important to me because I know someone personally that had written a song and someone stole it from them and not even giving them credit for even writing the lyrics to the song. That is very hurtful, it makes a person very angry and upset. Keeping that in our mind and in our hearts in very important.
